This little guy seems to have gone full blown toddler overnight. If he wants something, he is a determined little thing that he will get it. His favorite? My gum fridge magnets. Sounds weird, and I guess it probably is. They look like chewed up gum, but they're magnets. He loves to carry one in each hand. On a different note, his vocabulary has exploded. We never had to guess what word Eden was saying when she was speaking, so this is all new to us here. But "tattoo" is truck, and he says "ice" with the biggest southern slang you've ever heard, and "raining" is said in a deeper tone than any other word. He's fun.
Like the haircut? It came after Mike and I were in the nursery one morning at church and I looked at him from across the hall. My thoughts were "oh dear, that does not look good." And he got a haircut the next day. When did he grown up?
So, the towel around his neck... After Eden gets her hair washed, she loves it when I wrap it up and have the towel on top of her head. I always do it for her and this time Micah wanted it done. So he asked Mike. Ummm, don't think so sweetie. But they were both proud, and that's all that matters.
Eden. I feel like just typing her name is flooding my head with different definitions. What a complex little girl. She's been a jem, a helper, and such a little friend. There was one day this week where we all took a nap. When we got up, she told me that she put a little note under my pillow. Sure enough, there was a little note with her little scribbly writing and stickers galore. I did put a note under her pillow that night. It's her favorite, and I must say I loved finding a note under my pillow too.
I feel like such a lucky momma to get to spend my days with these two.
