Catching a glimpse

I love to watch Eden play.

It's usually the times that I'm not around or she thinks that I'm not looking

that I find her creativity bursting at the seams.

But this particular time, she knew I was watching

and for a few minutes

I caught a glimpse

of how animated,

spirited,

chirpy,

and wild she really is.

And then I caught a glimpse of what I hope

will someday be reality.
